Friday - Songs of (thinking you may have) Cancer Tropics of Cancer

woke up super early today had KFC for late late night snack as I watched Talullah Bankhead on I Love Lucy


It's 6:30 now. I'm sitting the sofa of the living room with a cup of Cafe o Lait, (coffee with milk and sugar the Brazilian way)

Today I hope my authroizatoin comes through so I can plan for ultrasound this weekend or today

Before I call the doctors or anything I wanted to list here the songs I have written since being aware that I might have cancer.

at 9:03 I called the oncology institute about the authorization and was transferred to a woman named Susan who didn't answer I got her answering machine. I left my number and hope she will call back.


i didn't get much done today but i did update the list of completed videos for FZ

i'm starting to fill in teh gaps in



went wiht Jaleel to his church for a party last night
it was nice i talked to people and ate

then the Pastor came and sat with me we talked a while


Taysir called me while I was on teh way home from the Assyrian Chruch. He heard from Abed that I have cancer. Abed hasn't reached out to me.




the oncology  I called and the approval had not yet come. will ahve to wait to monday


will go through with appt with surgeon monday even if it dont have the endorectal ultrasound


its supposedly jsut a consultation. well see


mom hasn't been calling. kinnd of a bummer but I understand

Friday - second colonoscopy

on Friday they told me that Dr. Lee wanted to do a final colonoscopy to make sure everything was clean and alright. there had been profuse bleeding the day before. I stayed till around noon and they did the colonoscopy. In the operating room, they asked if I wanted any special music. I said if there was gospel music. They put on a song that said "He still divides the seas" great song. Then "In My Father's house there's a place for me. I'm a child of God. Yes I am." Then I think the main nurse changed it to Christmas blase music. I don't know why she did that. Then the doctor came and I went under. I woke up a little while later in the recovery room. Then Dwayne came and they wheeled me out after him. A guy from Iran wheeled me out who is married to an Lebanese lady. He speaks a little Arabic. He told me that Dr. Lee is one of the top five G.I. doctors in America. The Japanese assistant who also did my operation, which lasted three hour...
